This is a great hangout spot with colleagues, friends, semi large groups! The service, zeee nom noms, and the mellow tones really gives you that chill vibes. Be warn it's semi dark in there so reading the menu can be slightly a challenge. Overall their kitchen staff made the best noms I've eaten. THe chops! Oh man! Juicy as juicy can be! Heads up it takes time for them to make it so definitely put it in if you're not planning to stay too long. As for there grill side of the place where you have to order separately from the bar/kitchen. I definitely recommend. The Kielbasa, frankford, and Bratwurst is oh so good! Forget the bun! Just do the sampler! Their house mustard is also devine! Not too tart, very smooth, and rich textures. Their burgers were on point! The grill man knows what's he's doing! I definitely recommend this spot. It's a great summers hangout. If you're feeling hot inside got AC. If you feeling for some just warm weathers they have a semi open out seating by the grill man!

If you want to drink steins of beer day to night with a large group in a vibrant, semi fratty environment with fun music, this is the place for you! I've come several times over the last decade and always have a blast. While it gets very crowded Saturday afternoons, table service is always attentive and professional. Awesome Williamsburg location.

I love the rustic ambience of this place both from the inside and the outside. The vibes are way more authentic than other bars that claim to be German beer halls and are just American dive bars with pilsners. The service is always friendly and fast, but it can get busy busy and pretty loud on weekends. There's good German bar food available and they also have brass bands with a modern twist playing.

I went to this bar 10 years ago and one of my friends wanted to meet me here so, it was good to see how this place goes. I mostly came at late night but this time it was late afternoon, so it was different vibes and energy. We enjoyed live music and the band played very well. We had couple drinks before we went to next place. This bar reminded me when the time, I went out party almost every night.

I've had a great time every time I've been to Radegast. The food is good, the beer is great, and the vibes are so fun. It's a great place for group gatherings--there's lots of space! It does get crowded, but I've been here on weekdays as well when it's less so. The staff here are also all very friendly and helpful, and they definitely try their best to be as attentive as possible (which sometimes is impossible with the sheer numbers of people). Overall, I would recommend Radegast, and I would definitely return for future friend group outings! (It also definitely helps that I live somewhat nearby!)

We came here for a group dinner on a Friday night. It was not too packed which was a relief. We had a large table for 15 people. They were showing the Euro Cup on the screen which a good number of people came for. At nine they had a live band performing. They were very talented and put on a great show. The crowd did get larger as the night went on. People were dancing on the floor and having a good time. It did not get super overcrowded as I read in previous reviews. Maybe it was a slow night but everything there seemed reasonable. We had a large party so we were able to try out the different kinds of beer. They have a large variety so you can go from light to dark quickly. They have a .5 liter size to a full liter. There were several cocktails available as well. If you wanted to order something from the grill you had to go up and order there separately. We ordered the sausage platter which gave your choice of three options. This was good to try the different sausages at one time. They were cooked well and tasted great. The other patrons ordered some of the appetizers and burgers which were great as well. I have never been to Germany but I assume this is what it tastes like. Overall it was a chill night. I haven't spent much time in Williamsburg but it seems like a great location to be in.

We came here on Saturday around 3pm, 3 pre-made aperol spritz and a couple shots deep which is lowkey a lot for me at this point in my career. I'm on the back 9. I don't have the same lift I once did. Father time is truly undefeated. I walked in here blown away at the energy that couldn't help remind me of the atrium at Lambda Chi Alpha in my glory days at USC. Patrons standing on benches with their drinks, guys needing one more drink before they try to talk to that one girl, a few people WAY too drunk where you're thinking "damn his homies gotta get him home," heads bobbing to some live music that is loud enough that you need a light yell to communicate, all as the natural light from the sun floods in through the skylights to illuminate all the faces in the place At the ripe age of 28, I was on my "I'm lowkey too old for this..." until I went and got a $25 Stein that took me all the way through the end of the day. On another note, day drinking has become FAR superior to night drinking in my twilight years. You wake up with no hangover, you can get all cozy in bed knowing you already hit your socialization quota and get no FOMO, you can see what people actually look like, and something about aperol flooding my veins when the sun rays are hitting my Mexican skin just feels right. My only regret is that I didn't get a pretzel because my one true love in this life is a good ole soft pretzel, and I saw one go by and it was looking at me CRAZY. They have local brass bands every Sat from 3-6, no cover. So they wld be 5 stars for that alone. They also have the freshest & best selection of German beer on tap in NYC, incl the best beer in all of NYC - Zwicklebier, aka unfiltered pils. They are the only place in NYC that has it on tap. I've been coming for many years for the Zwickle only, & finally tried the food. It's not cheap. It's probably prohibitively expensive. The portions are small. The quality of the ingredients is SUPER high, & the food is delicious & off the hook. But beyond my budget. But now that I know how good it is.........

A large beer hall tucked into the heart of Williamsburg -- there's plenty of seating and even a live brass band on weekends. It's a solid spot to sit and chat. I didn't care much for the amber ale, so would want to try another beer sometime. The Pretzel and Beer Cheese was SO. GOOD. I'm obsessed and would go back just for that!
